We may have different opening hours on public holidays. We announce adjusted opening hours via our website (blog) or social media.

Personal data

When are we actually talking about personal data? And when are these privacy sensitive? In short, personal data is all data with which persons can be individually identified, for example when someone places an order. Consider, for example, data such as:

• Name
• Mailing address
• E-mail address
• Location data (e.g. GPS coordinates)
• IP addresses

We have taken measures to collect as little personal data as possible.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect visitor information. This means that we gain insight into all visitors to our website. This is a tool for us internally to see whether certain actions are working and what the peak times of, for example, orders are.

We have anonymized all IP addresses that we collect via Google Analytics. This means that we do not forward your full IP address to Google Analytics. As a result, we have no specific insight into where you are.

Statistics on the server

No statistics are kept on our server. We have disabled this in consultation with the hosting party.

Our hosting party still keeps (limited) IP addresses of visitors. These IP addresses are not directly accessible via a website. Our hosting party does this from a security point of view. If an attack occurs, it is essential for our hosting party to be able to trace the “culprit”. This is only possible on the basis of an IP address.

Account information

As soon as you place an order in our webshop, your name and address and bank details (which you provided during the order) will be stored in our webshop database. We need this information to process your order. It does not matter whether you are a registered customer or a guest customer. Your data is always stored.

We offer the possibility to visit our website over a secure SSL (https) connection. Always check the browser line to see if you see the green lock. If this is not the case, you are sending your data over an unsecured connection.

We only use your name and address and bank details to process your order. Only our employees have access to that data.

We process your personal data because you use our services and / or because you provide them yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:

• First and last name
• sex
• address data
• phone number
• e-mail address
• bank account number (if applicable)

Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us via contact@nihonsport.nl and we will delete this information.

Why we need your data

Sisow

We use the payment platform Sisow to accept payments. Sisow ensures that your payment can be processed. As soon as you make a payment, this will always go through a Sisow suspense account. Your name and address and bank details are therefore also known on the Sisow platform. This information can only be viewed by us and Sisow.

ERP system

We also use an ERP system. The meaning of ERP is Enterprise Resource Planning. This is software that supports all processes within our company. By using an ERP system we are able to monitor the use of company resources and improve the efficiency of our operations.

Your data is automatically synchronized to the ERP system via a secure SSL (https) connection. We process every order from the ERP system. Shipping and other actions are also carried out from the ERP system.

Bookkeeper / accountant

For our accounting we are obliged to share your data with our bookkeeper and accountant. The ERP system is also our administration program. Only the figures (purchasing and sales) are relevant for the bookkeeper and accountant. Your details are already known, see the info for the ERP system above.

Mailchimp

When you register for our newsletter, the specified fields (name, email, interests) will be forwarded to Mailchimp. Mailchimp is a platform for sending newsletters. You will always receive a confirmation email when you register. After your registration has been confirmed, you are officially a subscriber to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

Share with others

We do not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations.

We only use technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. View, rectify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to contact@nihonsport.nl. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. We hereby ask you to black out your passport photo and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Right to object

Right of withdrawal

If your data has been obtained with permission, you can withdraw your permission at any time. You can report this by emailing contact@nihonsport.nl.

Complaints

We try to carry out your wishes in a good way at all times. In the unlikely event that there is a complaint with regard to our practices, you can always contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
